Age Divisions
Participants compete in 5-year age brackets:
50+, 55+, 60+, 65+, 70+, 75+, 80+, 85+, 90+, 95+, 100+ - Cheyenne
35-49, 50+, 55+, 60+, 70+, 75+, 80+, 85+, 90+, 95+, 100+ - Rawlins
Age is determined by date: December 31, 2026
Note: Games officials reserve the right to cancel or combine divisions based on participation.

Competition Format & Rules
Tournament Format:
The Event Commissioner will determine the final rules, guidelines, and competition bracketing.
General Rules:

Archers must bring their own bows and target arrows.
-
Lighted nocks are not allowed.
-
The “900” American Round format will be used.
-
Maximum time per end of six arrows: 5 minutes.
-
Closed-toe shoes are required at all times.
-
Recurve events follow National Archery Association (NAA) rules with modifications.
-
Compound archery styles follow National Field Archery Association (NFAA) rules with modifications.

Medals & Qualifying for Nationals

Gold, Silver, and Bronze medals will be awarded in each class and age division.

All first-, second-, third- and fourth-place winners or athletes (50+ Age Divisions) meeting this sport’s NSGA – 900 round minimum performance standards in competition at a 2026 NSGA qualifying games will qualify for the 2027 National Senior Games.

Tied Scores: Identical medals will be awarded. No tie-breakers will be conducted.
