Important Information for All Wyoming Senior Olympics Swimming Participants
Please read the following information carefully.
General Information
No membership is required from any swimming organization. However, all current USMS Swimming standards will be followed.
The information below may answer questions about this year’s swimming competition.
Event Schedule

Men & Women- All Age Groups
Friday, June 19 - Saturday, June 20
There will be no make-up days
This schedule is preliminary and subject to change.
Friday, June 19
12:30 PM – Warm-up
1:00 PM – Competition Start
Warm-up lanes will be available prior to the competition.
Events:
100 Butterfly, 200 Freestyle, 50 Breaststroke, 100 Backstroke, 400 IM (Four Strokes),
50 Backstroke, 200 Breaststroke, 50 Butterfly, Mixed 200 Medley Relay, 1500 Freestyle
Saturday, June 20
12:30 PM – Warm-up
1:00 PM – Competition Start
Events:
200 Backstroke, 100 IM, 50 Freestyle, 200 Butterfly, 100 Breaststroke, 200 IM, 100 Freestyle, Mixed 200 Freestyle Relay, 500 Freestyle

Age Divisions
5-Year Age Brackets:
50+, 55+, 60+, 65+, 70+, 75+, 80+, 85+, 90+, 95+, 100+
Game officials reserve the right to cancel or combine divisions based on participation.

Registration Rules
All athletes are required to read and understand the rules.
NSGA 2026 rules apply.
Format
This competition will be conducted under United States Masters Swimming (USMS) rules.
● Participants may enter a maximum of 8 individual events plus 2 relay events
● All swimming events will be timed finals
● Swimmers in the 1500 & 500-yard Freestyle and 400 IM must check-in at the venue
● Relay entry packets will be available at the venue on Day 1 of competition

Medals & Qualifying for Nationals
Medals
Gold, Silver, and Bronze medals will be awarded in each class and age division. Tied Scores: Identical medals will be awarded—no tie-breakers.
National Senior Games Association (NSGA) Qualification
2026 is a qualifying year for the NSGA, and the Wyoming Senior Olympics is a qualifying event.
The top four finishers in each age event will qualify.
2027 NSGA Dates: June 30 – July 11
