Important Information for All Wyoming Senior Olympics Pickleball Players
Please read the following information carefully.
General Information
No membership is required from any pickleball organization. However, all current USA Pickleball tournament standards will be followed.
If you do not have a partner, you may still register for the tournament; however, you will be placed on a waitlist until your partner registers. Make sure your partner has registered and paid. If your partner is not registered, you will remain on the waitlist for doubles events. It is your responsibility to ensure your partner has completed registration.
The information below may answer questions about this year’s pickleball tournament.

Athlete check-in begins at 8:00 AM
Competition begins at 9:00 AM daily
There will be no make-up days
This schedule is preliminary and subject to change.
Thursday, June 18 – Men’s and Women’s Singles
● One player competes against another, pitching one-on-one while walking end to end
● Round robin play will determine seeding
● Followed by a double elimination tournament
Thursday, June 18 – Men’s and Women’s Doubles
Friday, June 19 – Mixed Doubles
● Both participants must be registered
● Divisions are based on the age of the youngest partner
● Teams remain together throughout the tournament
● Round robin play followed by double elimination

Age Brackets (5-year increments):
50+, 55+, 60+, 65+, 70+, 75+, 80+, 85+, 90+, 95+, 100+
Games officials reserve the right to cancel events or combine age or skill divisions due to insufficient entries.

Registration Rules
All cornhole players must ensure both they and their partner are registered.
If you need a partner for doubles, check the Partner Finder for a list of individuals seeking partners by sport.
Participants must bring their own bags.
Format
The tournament will not be sanctioned; however, ACO rules will govern play.
● Format: Double elimination
● Championship match will follow a “double dip” format, where the loser’s bracket competitor must defeat the winner’s bracket competitor twice
● Round robin play will be used to determine seeding where applicable
● The NSGA and ACO reserve the right to adjust the format based on entry numbers, space limitations, or other circumstances
● Any rule modifications will be communicated prior to the event

Participants must check in at the venue prior to play each day they compete.
Medals & Qualifying for Nationals
Medals
Gold, Silver, and Bronze medals will be awarded to the top three finishers in each division of each event. Awards will be presented daily at the conclusion of events.
National Senior Games Association (NSGA) Qualification
2026 is a qualifying year for the NSGA, and the Wyoming Senior Olympics is a qualifying event.
For 2027, Cornhole will be classified as an “OPEN” sport. Athletes do not need to qualify at a 2026 qualifying event.
